for our Aussie World store, located in Palmview on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, within 10 mins drive from Caloundra, Buderim or Sippy Downs.

The successful candidate will:
n
n
n
Have experience within the food service/retail industry.
n
Display warmth and enthusiasm, with a friendly positive outlook and a can do attitude.
n
Be flexible, adaptable reliable and very much hands-on.
n
This position is based on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday (working every 2nd weekend). You will be required to work a range of shifts including opening and closing shifts, so you must be able to work varying shifts between the hours of 4.30am and 6pm.
n
n
Due to the early morning start times your own transport is essential.
n
n
The Store Manager's duties will include:
n
n




n
Ensuring excellence in Customer Service as the Number One priority
n
Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
n
Training, supervising, mentoring and coaching team members to foster their ongoing growth and development
n
Management of stock including rotation, quality and minimising wastage
n
Implementing operational policies and effectively managing back office administration
n
Maintaining knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety & Food Safety
n
Planning and managing rosters
n
Promoting a positive work environment that motivates team members to grow, be challenged and have fun!
n

Essential Skills / Attributes:
n
n
n
Proven ability in leading, developing and mentoring a team ideally in a Food service, Cafe or Bakery environment.
n
Customer service focused, with the ability to engage new customers and maintain returning customer relationships.
n
Ability to achieve store Key Performance Indicators.
n
Highly organised with effective time management and communication skills.
n
Self-motivated, flexible, reliable and honest.
n
Ability to build solid professional relationships within the store team and greater network, as well as with customers, suppliers and contractors.
n
Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 kgs.
n
n
n
