Job Description
We are urgently seeking an experienced
Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical)
for a 4 month contract supporting delivery on the Alkimos Desalination Plant project. This is a site-based opportunity for a capable mechanical project engineer with solid fabrication and SMP package delivery experience who can quickly add value in a fast-moving project environment.n
About the role

n
Support mechanical package delivery across fabrication, SMP works and site execution.
n
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to maintain safe, productive progress.
n
Review technical documentation, manage queries and help drive quality, completions and handover outcomes.
n
Work 11 hour days, Monday to Friday, on a circa $100/hr + super contract rate.

About you
n
n
Strong fabrication and SMP package delivery experience.
n
Previous
Tier 1 contractor experience
will be highly regarded.
n




Experience on major infrastructure or industrial construction projects is preferred.
n
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering degree with the confidence to work autonomously and solve site-based delivery challenges.
n
Ideally based in Perth's northern suburbs to support a reasonable commute and fatigue management requirements.
n
Existing Australian work rights are essential
