The Role n
n
Seeking a passionate English Teacher to join the team
n
Full-time position teaching English across Years 7–10
n
Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons
n
Utilise high-impact and evidence-based teaching strategies to support student learning
n
Monitor and assess student progress and use data to inform teaching practices
n
Provide meaningful feedback to students and communicate learning progress with parents and families
n
Create an inclusive, positive and engaging classroom environment
n
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement curriculum programs
n
Participate in professional learning, staff meetings,



parent-teacher meetings and wider school activities
n
Role Requirements n
n
Provisional or full Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration, or eligibility for registration
n
Relevant teaching qualification
n
Ability to teach English across Years 7–10
n
Strong knowledge of the relevant English curriculum
n
Understanding of effective classroom management and high-impact teaching strategies
n
Ability to assess student learning and use data to support student growth
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion and Child Safe Standards
n
