Job Description
Batemans Bay District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 5 October to 16 November ****. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy ED environment while working with a dedicated clinical team in a regional NSW setting. The role offers the chance to practise high-acuity nursing across a range of emergency presentations in a supportive healthcare setting.

Six-week contract placement in a regional emergency department
n
Hands-on experience across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care
n
Work alongside an established ED team in Batemans Bay, NSW
n
Preferred Requirements n
n
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n




Demonstrated competence in emergency triage assessment
n
Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture techniques
n
Experience with ventilation support and acute respiratory management
n
Solid clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED workplace
n
Preferred Qualifications n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
n
Additional emergency-focused certifications (such as TNCC or ENCC) are advantageous
n
