Job Description
Are you an experienced asphalt worker who knows their way around paving machinery?
What you'll be doing: n
n
Operating machinery: Driving pavers, steel/multi-rollers, and skid steers (bobcats).
n
Hands-on teamwork: Pitching in with manual labour like raking, shovelling, sweeping, and spotting trucks.
n
Quality control: Monitoring asphalt spread rates, depth, and surface texture.
n
Daily maintenance: Handling pre-starts, clean-downs, and site housekeeping.
n
What you need (Experience & Tickets): n
n
Current Driver's Licence (Mandatory).
n
Industry Experience: Proven background in asphalt paving operations.
n
Plant Tickets/VOCs: Competency to safely operate paving equipment. Existing tickets for a Front-End Loader, Forklift, Bobcat (Skid Steer),



or an Asphalt Paver (specifically the unit RIICBS305E - Conduct Asphalt Paver Operation) are strongly preferred
n
Physical Fitness: Happy to jump out of the cab for manual labour, lift up to 25kg, and work in hot, outdoor environments.
n
Team Player: A strong communicator with a safety-first mindset.
n
