About the Role
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Managing day-to-day accounting activities across a portfolio of trusts and assets
n
Completing trust accounting, including reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
n
Processing tenant-related transactions, receipts, expenses and other property-related payments
n
Assisting with monthly accounting and reporting processes
n
Preparing account reconciliations and financial information
n
Monitoring trust account balances and coordinating payments and owner remittances
n




Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
n
Supporting GST and taxation requirements
n
Preparing information for trust and other relevant audits
n
Working closely with property and asset management teams
n
Identifying discrepancies, risks and opportunities and escalating where appropriate
n
Contributing to improvements across finance processes and systems
n
n
About You
n
n
We're looking for an experienced finance professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience in property trust accounting.
n
You'll need to be confident managing trust accounts and have a strong understanding of accounting requirements within a property environment.
n
A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline is required
n
CA/CPA is desirable
n
