Medical Receptionist / Call Centre - Casual - Cairns GP Superclinic

General Practice in Cairns requires a Receptionist - casual rotational roster
n
Available for regular / rotational rostered hours over 7 days, during clinic hours
n
Customer Service skills required and empathetic nature
n
Require commitment available for both morning, afternoon and evening shifts
n
This will include Call Centre shifts as part of reception
n
While previous medical receptionist / call centre experience is an advantage, candidates with a background in
reception/administration,
customer service or hospitality are encouraged to apply, with on-the-job training provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Answer incoming calls and manage emails, on a busy switchboard.
n
Book appointments and manage multiple diaries.
n
Greet patients warmly and maintain a friendly environment.
n
Ensure cleanliness and compliance with infection control protocols.
n
Handle patient enquiries and rescheduling, including challenging situations.
n
Assist healthcare professionals and perform administrative tasks.
n
n

Strong organisational and time management skills, with multitasking ability.

Willingness to learn, be directed and follow procedures

Team player with intermediate computer skills.
n
Valid driver's licence for errands (automatic vehicle).
n
Australian citizenship or permanent residency essential.

Availability:
n
Approx. 4 to 5 shifts per week (25 to 35 hours).
n
Flexibility is required as shifts cover morning, afternoon and evening. With rotational weekends - during the clinic's opening hours.
n
Current clinic hours are Mon-Fri 7am to 9pm; Sat-Sun 8am to 6pm, also open Public Holidays.
n
