About the role
n
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to support product manufacturing and assembly at our R&D; facility in Clayton, Victoria. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to Jia Wei Ng.
n
You will help deliver consistent workmanship, reliable production records and well-maintained equipment while working closely with colleagues to improve manufacturing efficiency.

What you will do
n

Carry out manufacturing and assembly activities in accordance with work instructions.
n
Check the functionality of parts and components, record results and raise defects or unexpected findings.
n
Help optimise production efficiency through machinery adjustments and settings within assigned procedures and training.
n
Maintain equipment and maintenance logs, and keep the work area safe and tidy.
n




Maintain productivity records and incident reports in accordance with internal policies and applicable requirements.
n
Work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to understand critical product features and design requirements.
n

What you will bring
n
n
Relevant practical experience appropriate to a technician role. We welcome a range of related experience, including from recent graduates.
n
Careful workmanship, explicit communication and the ability to follow work instructions.
n
A cooperative approach to working with colleagues.
n
Experience with injection moulding, FDM or SLA 3D printing, or general workshop tools is preferred.
n

Development in the role
n
You will build proficiency in assembly, quality checks and equipment upkeep. Your responsibilities can expand as you complete training and demonstrate capability.
