About the client: n
Our client is an established manufacturer based in Bayswater Vic. We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Loader to join their Despatch team.
n
This is a hands-on role responsible for loading and unloading products, managing stock and incoming goods, preparing customer orders, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the despatch and yard areas.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and other vehicles
n
Load customer orders accurately according to delivery and pickup paperwork
n
Receive and store incoming goods in designated areas
n
Ensure products are handled and transported carefully to minimise damage
n
Check delivery dockets and paperwork to ensure all goods are correctly dispatched
n
Collect and submit signed paperwork to the office
n
Assist with stocktakes and maintain appropriate stock levels
n
Maintain clean, organised and safe loading, receiving and yard areas
n
Complete daily forklift pre-start and safety checks
n
Follow all site traffic management, safety and housekeeping procedures
n
Assist drivers with timely and complete deliveries and pickups
n
Receive and manage recyclable materials as required
n




Provide materials to the factory as required
n
Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties
n
Work closely with the Despatch Manager, logistics team, factory staff, drivers and office staff
n
Report any safety concerns, incidents, delays or product issues promptly
n
About the Role: n

Forklift Loader / Despatch position
n
Monday to Friday | Day Shift | 7AM - 3PM - $37/hr + Super
n
Hands-on role combining forklift operation, despatch and manual handling
n
Working both indoors and outdoors
n
Fast-paced environment with regular truck and forklift movements
n
Manual loading and unloading may be required
n

Previous forklift operating experience in warehousing, manufacturing, logistics or despatch
n
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
n
Good attention to detail when checking orders and paperwork

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and standing for extended periods
n
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
Solid communication, teamwork and instruction-following skills
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment with high forklift and truck traffic
n
