Summary:

Nurse Anesthetists administer anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures, working closely with physicians, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer anesthesia to patients before medical procedures
n
Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
n
Adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout the procedure
n
Manage patients' recovery after the procedure and any side effects of anesthesia
n
Document patients' medical histories and relevant information
n
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best treatment plan for patients
n
Participate in patient education programs and counseling patients and families
n
Keep up to date with changes in anesthesia techniques, medications, and medical technologies
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
Degree in nursing and license to practice as a registered nurse
n
Additional certification in anaesthesia
n
Excellent communication and organisation skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced medical setting.
