At Social Footprints Disability Services Pty Ltd, our mission is to deliver compassionate, high-quality support to individuals living with disabilities, as well as their families and support networks. Our vision is to create a world where disability is not a barrier to experiencing all that life has to offer.
The prospect
This is a new casual role providing one-on-one support to an adult in their home and community. You'll help with everyday tasks such as meals, errands and routines, and support them to work toward their NDIS goals.
As you get to know the person you support, you'll see them build confidence and independence over time.
What you'll do
Support participants to develop daily living skills and establish consistent routines
Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and home organisation
Support participants with meal planning and preparation
Provide transport for appointments, errands and community activities
Use a collaborative, person-centred approach to encourage participants to complete tasks
Support participants to work toward their goals in their NDIS plans
About you
You're warm, upbeat and resilient: a natural self-starter who brings energy, encouragement and a can-do attitude to every shift.

Formal qualifications aren't essential; personality and attitude matter most.
Experience supporting adults with disability, ideally including behaviours of concern
You encourage and collaborate, rather than waiting to be told what to do or pushing too hard
Patience with communication: some participants take time to understand, and that gets easier as you get to know them
You'll need:
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Full driver's licence and a registered, comprehensively insured car
First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
What we offer
At Social Footprints, we value our support workers and the difference they make. Here's what you can expect when you join our team:
Travel reimbursement allowance in line with the SCHADS Award
Predominantly weekday daytime shifts, with occasional weekend work (4-hour shifts)
Consistent one-on-one support with the same participant, so you build a genuine relationship rather than working random rostered shifts
A small, supportive team with direct access to leadership
Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
