nThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced
Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) Implementation Manager
to join an established organisation in Sydney West.n
n
nThis is a unique opportunity to act as an
independent representative between the business and its external Dynamics 365 implementation partner
. You will provide oversight, governance and transparency across the implementation, ensuring the business is well informed, risks are identified early and the implementation partner remains aligned with the organisation's objectives.n
n
nYou will not be responsible for delivering the implementation yourself. Instead, you will act as the
business-side subject matter expert and independent point of oversight
, challenging the implementation partner where required and ensuring the project stays on track.n
n
nKey Responsibilitiesn
n
Act as the primary independent liaison between the organisation and its Dynamics 365 F&O; implementation partner.
n
Provide independent oversight of the implementation, ensuring key milestones, deliverables and timelines are being achieved.
n
Review and communicate project progress, risks, issues and dependencies to key internal stakeholders.
n
Translate technical and implementation-related information from the partner into clear, business-friendly updates.
n
Challenge project decisions, assumptions and proposed solutions where appropriate.
n
Ensure the implementation partner is delivering against agreed scope, requirements and expectations.
n
Monitor project governance, documentation, testing, data migration and change management activities.
n
Work closely with internal business stakeholders to understand concerns, requirements and priorities.
n




Coordinate with the implementation partner to ensure issues are appropriately addressed and escalated.
n
Identify potential risks or delivery issues before they become major problems.
n
Provide regular reporting to senior management and key business stakeholders.
n
Support decision-making by providing an independent view of project progress and partner performance.
n
Help ensure the organisation is adequately prepared for key implementation milestones, testing and go-live.
n
About You: n
n
nYou will be an experienced
Dynamics 365 F&O; professional
who understands the realities of large-scale ERP implementations and can confidently operate between a business and an implementation partner.n
n
nYou will ideally have:n
n
n
Strong experience across
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
implementations.
n
Previous experience working on ERP implementation or transformation projects.
n
Strong understanding of Dynamics F&O; implementation methodology, project phases and key deliverables.
n
Experience working with external implementation partners or consultancies.
n
The ability to understand technical detail without necessarily being a hands-on technical resource.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Strong commercial and project governance awareness.
n
The confidence to challenge an implementation partner when required.
n
Strong reporting, documentation and risk-management skills.
n
Experience communicating with senior business stakeholders and executives.
n
The ability to work independently and provide an objective perspective.
