Previous experience working with children aged 2-3 or 3-5 years, particularly in toddler or kindergarten settings, would be highly desirable.
Is confident in guiding and managing groups of children, including leading group time experiences, supporting daily routines and encouraging positive behaviour
Can create a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
Understands and implements the EYLF, VEYLDF and National Quality Framework
Builds warm, respectful and trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues
Demonstrates strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills




Is reliable, proactive, flexible and willing to take initiative
Has a positive attitude and genuinely enjoys being part of a small, supportive team
Qualifications & Requirements
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training and Gecko training
Positive understanding of child safety practices and responsibilities
Sound documentation and computer skills
