Job Description
Ahmadi Orchard Management Pty Ltd is looking for 50 horticultural labourers to start in late October **** for an employment period of up to 9 months, spanning the fruit and vegetable seasons. Positions will be available in the Ardmona region of VIC. Key responsibilities for these positions will include:
physical labour,
picking and packing of vegetables,
planting and pruning,
weeding and mulching,
packhouse duties, and
general labour, as required.
Requirements of the role:
being on your feet, standing for long periods of time,
walking long distances,
lifting heavy objects,
working in various conditions (hot humid through to cold weather),
be available for shift work as well as working out the entire season.
Successful applicants will be paid by the relevant hourly rate in accordance with the Horticulture Award **** MA******). Work is available 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, for a minimum of 30 hours a week. However, sometimes work will also be offered on weekends.
