JK Williams Group is a well‐established and highly regarded Tier 2 civil construction company based in Western Sydney. We're looking for a motivated Apprentice Civil Pipe Layer to join our team full‐time from early ****.
What You'll Be Doing n
You'll learn to be an all‐rounder, working alongside experienced pipe layers on large civil construction sites around mobile plant and machinery. Day to day you'll be:

Digging trenches
n
Learning to read construction plans
n
Laying stormwater pipes, ag line and electrical conduits
n
Learning to operate mobile plant
n
n
You'll get to work across a range of projects, including residential subdivisions, civil infrastructure and road construction - so no two weeks look the same.
Who We're Looking For n
n
A genuine interest in civil construction and pipe laying
n
A can‐do attitude and the drive to learn and improve
n
Positive at following directions and communicating clearly
n
A team player who works well in a small crew---but I lost the line, rem or? Need to keep structure.
n
Committed to safety (WHS) on site
n
Happy to take on all tasks set by your Site Supervisor
n
Willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime
n
Keen to attend classes and complete your study
n
Committed to finishing a three‐year apprenticeship
n
Able to read and interpret basic plans (don't worry - we'll train you)
n
Skills and Experiences: The must-haves n
n
Year 10 completed (ROSA)
n
WHS Industry Induction Card (White Card)
n
Australian permanent residency or valid work rights
n
