The Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organisedFacilities Coordinatorto join our team atMelbourne Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-do management of facilities, ensuring operational areas are safe, compliant, and well maintained to support smooth aviation catering operations.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced airport environment, requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee general maintenance of facilities, equipment, and operational areas.
Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards are met.
Support compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and company procedures.
Assist with managing utilities, supplies, and facility-related inventory.




Report and elevate maintenance issues promptly to ensure minimal operational disruption.
Support operational teams with facility setup and infrastructure requirements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and contractor work.
Selection Criteria
Previous experience in facilities coordination, maintenance support, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in basic administrative systems and record keeping.
Full Australian working rights.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Experience in an airport, logistics, or industrial environment is highly regarded but not essential.
