About the client
MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and highly regarded insurer seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join their Perth Claims team on a temporary basis for 3 months.
This is an excellent chance for an experienced claims professional who can hit the ground running, manage a busy portfolio and provide high-quality service to customers throughout the claims process.
Property claims experience is highly desirable, but most importantly, you'll bring proven claims processing experience and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Processing and managing claims from notification through to resolution
Assessing claim information and determining appropriate outcomes
Liaising with customers, brokers, assessors, suppliers and other stakeholders
Coordinating assessments, repairs and other claim requirements
Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation
Managing customer enquiries and providing regular updates




Ensuring claims are processed efficiently and in line with relevant policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Previous claims processing experience – essential
Experience managing claims within an insurance environment
Property claims experience highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise competing claims
Experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to hit the ground running and work effectively
