Role details The Support Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Central Equipment Loan Services Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity The Clinical Equipment Loan Service Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the Clinical Equipment Loan Service (CELS), supporting the timely and effective provision of clinical equipment across Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
The position provides operational oversight of the CELS equipment fleet, coordinating equipment availability, allocation, distribution, collection, cleaning, maintenance and replacement activities to ensure equipment is secure, serviceable and available to meet service requirements.
The role provides direct supervision and day-to-day support to CELS staff,



maintains accurate equipment and loan records, and works collaboratively with clinical, technical and operational stakeholders to support effective equipment utilisation and service delivery.
The position also contributes to monitoring service activity, identifying operational issues and implementing practical improvements to CELS processes and practices.
About the Team Support Services play an important role in delivering a diverse range of non-clinical services that support the Mackay Base Hospital, Staff Accommodation, Community Health Centres and Rural facilities through leading a standardised approach to similar services.
