Key duties and responsibilities The Cloud Solutions Architect will : Lead the development of cloud solution architectures from requirements through to implementation.
Work with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, constraints and expected outcomes.
Assess solution options and produce architecture artefacts, including solution designs, patterns, standards and implementation guidance.
Design secure, resilient, scalable and supportable solutions using approved cloud services and platforms.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, data, integration and operational requirements.
Present solution proposals through architecture and technology governance processes and address issues raised during review.
Provide architecture oversight and technical guidance to delivery teams during implementation.
Identify architecture risks, dependencies and technical debt, and recommend practical treatments.
Contribute to the development of cloud architecture standards, patterns and roadmaps.
Work independently, manage competing priorities and provide transparent advice to stakeholders.
