Reporting to the Health Service Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer will provide executive leadership for day-to-day patient-centred operational services across THHS, translating strategy into measurable clinical, operational, workforce and financial outcomes.
The role carries significant accountability across the Health Service, including approximately $1.2 billion in operating budget and 5,900 FTE, spanning five Clinical Divisions, Facilities and Integrated Support Services, hospital-wide patient flow and Public Health.
Key Responsibilities Provide executive leadership across the delivery of safe, effective and efficient patient-centred healthcare services Translate the Health Service's strategic priorities into integrated operational plans and measurable performance outcomes Drive operational excellence, productivity, service improvement and contemporary models of care across a complex multi-site setting Lead performance against key clinical, operational, workforce and financial targets,
