The role leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health information management, policies and processes to ensure the integrity,



accessibility and compliance of health information in accordance with legislative, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
The NHISM role is accountable for ensuring for the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of the provision of health information services for Icon Cancer Centres including clinical records management, clinical data management, clinical coding and Release of Information and medical transcription.
The NHISM drives workforce capability, service performance, innovation, and strategic initiatives that support organisational objectives.
