About the Role This is an opportunity to secure an ongoing position at our Cranbourne Workshop where you will carry out preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and approved modifications in a clean setting to well-maintained CFA appliances.




All tools and equipment supplied including uniform and PPE.
The working hours are from 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
Work a 9-day fortnight.
$96, pa plus defined benefits superannuation.
Your days will see you carry out mechanical tasks associated with the maintenance and servicing of fleet assets as directed by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) ensuring relevant safety standards and maintenance procedures are adhered to.
In addition, you will provide assistance to other workshop staff and apprentices and participate in the after-hours roster for mechanical support.
A day in the life of a Leading Hand may see you: Carry out preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and approved modifications to fleet assets under the direction of the workshop OIC Ensure fleet assets are maintained in accordance with appropriate industry standards and relevant CFA maintenance procedures.
Supervise unqualified staff and assist DMO Grade 1
