Job Description Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across sales, profitability, and business performance.
Deliver actionable insights and commercial recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Prepare monthly reporting, forecasts, budgets, management reports, and financial models.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across finance, operations, and the broader business network.
Monitor and report on key business performance metrics, including sales, profit, and KPI performance.
Support pricing, margin, profitability, and customer rebate analysis initiatives.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, annual planning, and long-term commercial initiatives.
Prepare and evaluate business cases in consultation with key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and commercial outcomes.
Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, reporting requirements, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Contribute to ad hoc projects, commercial analysis,



capex tracking, and key strategic initiatives.
The Successful Applicant A successful Commercial Analyst should have: CA or CPA qualified with a relevant accounting, finance, or commerce degree.
Proven experience within commercial finance, financial analysis, management reporting, or business partnering roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insights and recommendations.
Experience in Big-4 or Mid-Tier highly desirable.
Experience working within a wholesale, branch network, retail, distribution, or multi-site setting will be highly regarded.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with Power BI experience highly advantageous.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated ability to look beyond the numbers, identify trends, and provide commercially focused recommendations to drive performance.
