Job Description
We are looking for 50 meatworks labourers to start work in December **** for an employment period of 9 months. Positions will be available in Mildura, VIC. Key responsibilities for these positions will include:
Physical labour
Picking and packaging meat products.
Use of tools and equipment for meat processing
Requirements of the role :
Being on your feet, standing for long periods of time
Walking long distances
Lifting heavy objects
Working in various conditions
Be available for shift work as well as working the entire season
Successful candidates will be offered employment on a full time basis and paid under the Meat Industry Award (MA******)
with a starting rate as Level 1 $***** per hour. Workers will be required to work 5 days a week. This role could potentially be available for additional days depending on the requirements of the harvest.
General hours of work are between 6 AM and 5 PM with a minimum of 38 hours per week. This job has opportunities for upskilling and training. Workers must be able to pass a medical/drug test.
