This is an prospect to develop your knowledge and skills in retail leadership while still progressing your career. This is a "hands on" service-oriented role and the applicant should be able to lead by example and take pride in ensuring that the store is well stocked and exceptionally presented for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Running of the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Grocery Manager
Ensuring that customers are satisfied and employee interactions are positive.
Handling cash and end of day checking
Developing and coaching the team
Presentation, merchandising and stock management
Meet audit and compliance standards
Assist in Storeroom and Delivery duties
Minimise waste and drive operational efficiency
What We're Looking For




Previous supermarket or retail experience in a management or supervisory role
Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills
A proactive and hands-on management style
A passion for customer service and food retail
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
The remuneration for this position is higher in the evenings and on weekends where penalty rates apply.
Salary is available for the right candidate,
Roster is rotating weekends, including nights and day shifts.
A police check is required for this role.
