This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in the recreational vehicle industry, working alongside experienced tradespeople while completing your
MSM***** Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair
.
n
You'll gain practical experience servicing, maintaining and repairing caravans and recreational vehicles while developing a broad range of technical and hands-on skills.
n
No previous experience is required.
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine willingness to learn.
n
Applicants must hold a current P1 driver's licence or higher and have reliable transportation to both the workplace and Acacia Ridge TAFE.

What You'll Learn n
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll develop practical skills and experience including:
n

n
Carrying out routine caravan servicing and maintenance.
n
n




Inspecting recreational vehicles and identifying faults.
n
n
Assisting with repairs to caravan fixtures, fittings and components.
n
n
Working with caravan electrical systems and accessories under supervision.
n
n
Assisting with plumbing systems, water tanks and fittings.
n
n
Repairing and replacing doors, windows, seals and external components.
n
n
Inspecting and maintaining caravan chassis and running gear.
n
n
Assisting with the installation of caravan accessories and equipment.
n
n
Identifying and repairing water leaks and general wear and tear.
n
n
Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
n
n
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
n
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop setting.
n
About You n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and genuinely interested in developing a long‐term career in the recreational vehicle industry.

To be successful, you'll have:

A current P1 driver's licence or higher (essential).

Reliable transportation to both Currumbin Waters and Acacia Ridge TAFE (essential).

Important – TAFE Training Requirements n
As part of this apprenticeship, you will be required to complete your off‐the‐job training at
TAFE Queensland, Acacia Ridge Campus
.

Acacia Ridge TAFE is the only available training location for this apprenticeship.
n

Applicants must be willing and able to travel between Currumbin Waters and Acacia Ridge for their required training.
n
n
Reliable transportation is essential
, as attendance at the Acacia Ridge campus is a mandatory component of the apprenticeship.
n
n
Applicants must be committed to attending all required practical and theoretical training throughout their apprenticeship.

n

A Caravan Service & Repair Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop a diverse range of practical skills across multiple areas of the recreational vehicle industry.
