A housekeeper's purpose is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, common areas and facilities with an accommodation establishment.
Key responsibilities
Thoroughly clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards
Change bed linens and towels regularly
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures and surfaces
Dust furniture and surfaces
Vacuum carpets and mop floors
Empty trash bins and replenish amenities like toiletries
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional towels, linens or other supplies
Address any guest concerns regarding cleanliness in a skilled manner
Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and guest amenities
Identify and report any maintenance issues within the guest rooms, such as plumbing leaks,



faulty appliances or damaged furniture
About you
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and procedures
Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues
Adhere to all safety protocols and cleaning procedures
Properly dispose of hazardous materials
Wear appropriate protective gear when necessary
