- Further opportunities to assist the restoration and ecology teams with hands-on work and with reporting, depending on your interests.
- Project management experience across short and long-term projects with a diverse range of clients.
We are looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science / Zoology / Ecology or similar.
- At least 3 years' ecological experience.
- Strong fauna and flora species knowledge and identification skills, with practical fauna handling experience highly regarded.
- Experience planning, coordinating, and leading ecological fieldwork.
- Working knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, to support effective stakeholder engagement.
- An ability to be both organised and flexible with changing plans.
- Experience preparing technical reports.
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Project management skills and experience.
- A passion for sharing their knowledge with others.
- Current driver's licence.
If you don't fulfil all these requirements but you think this job sounds like you, we would still love to hear from you.
Additional Benefits
You'll love working with us because we will value your expertise, encourage your curiosity and your contributions will have a real-world impact. You'll be part of a team that genuinely enjoys what they do and supports each other to succeed. We offer:
- A competitive salary subject to annual review.
- Workplace flexibility.
- Paid birthday leave.
- Health & Wellbeing programs.
- Study assistance scheme and learning opportunities with industry experts.
- Collaboration on national projects, building your expertise within a supportive community of practice.

- Salary sacrifice into superannuation or to purchase 4 extra weeks of annual leave.
- Opportunity to participate in Tetra Tech employee stock purchase program, and purchase at a discounted rate (NASDAQ TTEK).
Most of all, we offer purpose-driven work, incredible colleagues, and the opportunity to grow a career where you don't have to choose between quality of work and quality of life.
