About the Opportunity
Are you a General or Clinical Psychologist looking for a rewarding opportunity to support adolescents and adults while building a fulfilling caseload?

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychologist to join an established multidisciplinary service in Newcastle. This role offers the prospect to provide evidence-based psychological therapy, conduct assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns.

You will work within a collaborative clinical environment, with access to administrative support, professional development and opportunities to connect with clinicians across a broader multidisciplinary team.

Part-time and full-time employment options are available.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide evidence-based psychological therapy to adolescents and adults.
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop clinical formulations where indicated.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
- Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and provide practical recommendations.
- Monitor client progress and adapt interventions to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals and other clinicians to support coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional and clinical governance requirements.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- General registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, with Clinical endorsement highly regarded.
- Experience providing psychological therapy to adolescents and adults.
- Strong clinical assessment, formulation and report-writing skills.
- Confidence delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Knowledge of risk assessment,



confidentiality and clinical governance.
- A collaborative, client-centred approach to clinical practice.

Experience with formal psychological assessments, Medicare-funded services and presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma and other complex mental health concerns will be highly regarded.
