Maintenance Officer | Aged Care | Permanent Full-Time

Kollab Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-regarded not-for-profit aged care provider to find a Maintenance Officer for their care home based in Young.

You'll keep the home safe and comfortable for residents, and the gardens looking great for them to enjoy. One day you're fixing a leaking tap or patching a wall, the next you're mowing lawns and tidying hedges. If you enjoy variety and take pride in a job done well, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do

- General maintenance and repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building work
- Mowing, hedging, sweeping, hosing and general grounds upkeep
- Responding to maintenance requests from staff and residents
- Keeping the home protected, tidy and well presented
- Reporting any hazards or larger jobs that need a tradesperson

What you'll bring





- Practical maintenance or handyperson experience
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work on your own
- A friendly, patient manner around older people
- Full Australian work rights (sponsorship is not available)
- National Police Check, or willingness to get one
