THE OPPORTUNITY
Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking experienced Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for a short-term contract opportunity supporting the P-8 platform at Edinburgh RAAF Base in Adelaide.
This is a defined 3–4 month assignment within a Defence aviation maintenance workplace and is ideally suited to avionics professionals who hold the required qualifications and an active NV1 security clearance.

THE ROLE
You will provide avionics maintenance support on the P-8 platform as part of an established aviation maintenance operation.
The detailed scope of duties is currently being finalised, however the role will involve hands-on avionics maintenance support within a highly regulated Defence aviation environment.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered, you must have:
• Australian Citizenship
• Current active NV1 security clearance
• Certificate IV in Avionics OR Diploma in Avionics
• Availability and interest in a 3–4 month assignment in Adelaide
• Strong commitment to aviation safety, quality and compliance
• Ability to work effectively within a professional aircraft maintenance environment

HIGHLY REGARDED
• P-8 aircraft experience
• Boeing 737 experience
• CASA or DASR Part 66 B2 licence
• Previous Defence aviation maintenance experience




A B2 licence is not currently being treated as mandatory. Suitably qualified Avionics AMEs holding Cert IV or Diploma Avionics are encouraged to apply.
