About the Role

Reporting to the General/Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property, ensuring all building facilities, equipment, fixtures and fittings are maintained to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving,



preventative maintenance and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily inspections of building facilities, plant and equipment to identify maintenance requirements.

- Carry out general repairs, routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests involving guest rooms, common areas and building facilities.

- Monitor equipment performance and report faults or potential safety hazards.

- Maintain accurate records of completed and outstanding maintenance tasks.

- Coordinate with relevant departments to minimise disruptions to guests and property operations.

- Prioritise maintenance requests and respond appropriately to urgent issues.

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working workplace.

- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and company standards.

- Support the Maintenance Manager with other operational requirements as needed.

Skills And Experiences
About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience in general building, property or hotel maintenance.

- Practical knowledge of routine repairs, maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

- A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.

- An understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

- Flexibility to work rostered shifts as required.
