About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Practice Lead to help establish and lead our Family Based Care Services team across the Tablelands.

In this rewarding leadership role, you will guide and mentor staff, strengthen practice quality and work collaboratively with foster and kinship carers, Child Safety and community partners to support safe, stable and nurturing care arrangements.

What We're Looking For

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Behavioural Science or a related discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered.

- Demonstrated child and family practice experience in child protection, foster or kinship care, family intervention or a closely related service.

- Experience providing senior practice guidance, supervision, team leadership or program coordination, including implementation or improvement of services.

- Sound assessment, support planning and risk-management skills, with the ability to explain decisions and respond to changing household needs.

- A collaborative, supportive leadership style and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
