Melbourne

We're working with an established multidisciplinary Allied Health provider looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their growing team across Melbourne.

This is an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with adults, values clinical independence and wants to work somewhere that prioritises quality therapy over excessive billable expectations.

You'll manage a community-based caseload of NDIS and Home Care Package clients, with flexibility around your working hours, telehealth options and strong administration support to make your week easier.

Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time or contractor work, the team is open to discussing an arrangement that suits your lifestyle.

Why You'll Love This Role

- $85,000-$125,000 + super, depending on experience
- Performance bonuses for exceeding billable expectations
- $1,100 annual professional development allowance
- No strict KPI requirements
- Full-time, part-time or contractor opportunities
- Part-time options from 2-3 days per week
- Flexible start and finish times
- Telehealth appointments where appropriate
- Autonomy to manage your own weekly schedule
- Strong administration support
- Phone provided
- Toll reimbursement
- Access to clinical resources across multiple disciplines
- Supportive leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration

An Adult Caseload With Variety:
You'll work with adults across Melbourne's northern suburbs, supporting clients to improve their independence, daily functioning and quality of life.

Your caseload will include a combination of NDIS and Home Care Package clients, with opportunities to deliver a range of Occupational Therapy services.

Your day-to-day work may involve:

- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Activities of Daily Living assessments
- Home safety assessments
- Equipment and assistive technology recommendations
- Home modifications
- Functional rehabilitation
- Goal-directed therapy
- Supporting independence and community participation
- Collaboration with families, carers and support coordinators

The role is predominantly community-based, with appointments delivered in clients' homes and other community settings.

Telehealth is also available where clinically appropriate.

Flexibility That Actually Works One of the biggest advantages of this role is the ability to structure your working week around your commitments.

The practice offers:
Full time or Part-time: Work the hours that suit you, with part time arrangements available from 2-3 days per week.
Flexible Scheduling: Have input into your appointment times and how your week is structured.
Telehealth Options: Complete suitable appointments remotely rather than travelling unnecessarily.
Permanent or Contractor: Choose an employment arrangement that best suits your circumstances.

The focus is on providing clinicians with the flexibility to deliver quality care while maintaining a sustainable workload.

A Supportive Multidisciplinary Team:
Although you'll have the independence to manage your own community caseload,

you won't be working in isolation.
You'll be part of an established Allied Health team that includes:

- Occupational Therapists
- Speech Pathologists
- Physiotherapists

With administration support and access to resources across disciplines, you'll have the backing of a wider team while maintaining autonomy over your clinical work.

About You:
This opportunity would suit an Occupational Therapist who enjoys adult community work and wants greater flexibility and independence.

You'll ideally have:

- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- An interest in adult NDIS and aged care
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
