About us
SunPeople is looking for a licensed electrician to join our service team, working on solar and battery systems and EV charging upgrades across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Full training on the is provided, with an experienced team to support you. $50 to $60 per hour, company vehicle, phone and a 9-day fortnight option.

About the role
This is hands-on service work with plenty of variety, from battery system checks at homes to solar upgrades and EV charger installations. You will manage your own work, with the support of an experienced technical team plus a well organised and supportive office. Solar or battery experience is an advantage, but not essential.

What you'll be doing

- Servicing and maintaining solar, battery, EV charging systems and associated equipment

- Minor works installations and upgrades

- Working to Australian Standards and industry guidelines, with training and guidance along the way





- Staying in touch with scheduling and the office

What we're looking for

- NSW Electrical Licence

- Sensible fault-finding ability and a willingness to learn

- Pride in protected, quality workmanship

- Reliable, organised and a good communicator

- Solar, battery and SAA experience is desirable but not required
