About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of fast-track projects and maintenance contracts. The work includes new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs and ongoing maintenance.

You’ll manage projects from planning through to completion, balancing programme, budget, safety and quality requirements while maintaining strong working relationships with clients, site teams and subcontractors. A solid electrical background and practical maintenance knowledge will be important in this hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical projects and maintenance contracts.
- Develop scopes of work, budgets and cost plans.
- Monitor project programmes and coordinate resources to keep work on schedule.
- Prepare and oversee safety plans, OH&S; documentation and contract risk assessments.
- Direct electrical supervisors and coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment.
- Monitor apprentice work and support their development on site.
- Engage subcontractors and ensure work meets contractual requirements.
- Prepare and review production control reports.
- Track project costs,



manage expenditure against budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
- Liaise directly with client representatives and build positive working relationships.
- Attend site meetings and provide clear project updates.

About You

You’ll bring experience managing commercial electrical projects, along with the confidence to coordinate teams and take ownership of delivery. You’ll also have:

- Previous experience in a similar Project Manager role.
- A strong electrical technical background.
- Knowledge of electrical maintenance work and contracts.
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes and resources.
- The ability to coordinate supervisors, apprentices and subcontractors.
- A robust understanding of workplace health and safety and project risk management.
- Clear communication and client relationship skills.
- A self-motivated, positive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
