We are seeking an experienced Operational Contract Officer to support operational contract and procurement activities withing a large NSW Government organisation. The position supports contract/procurement activities, assessing invoices and claims relating to construction activities.

Responsibilities

- Assessing invoices and claims relating to construction activities against relevant criteria
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of operational contract activities
- Reviewing financial information and documentation accurately within a high-volume environment
- Liaising with internal teams, service providers and key stakeholders to obtain timely and accurate information




- Identifying issues and trends requiring escalation or further action
- Supporting continuous improvement of operational contract processes and service delivery

Essential Criteria

- Experience working with invoices, claims, finance, accounts payable or similar financial administration
- Robust Excel and AI system skills
- Government experience preferred
- Ability to accurately interpret and review invoices and supporting documentation
- Understanding of financial processes and contract/procurement environments
