Boilermaker Trade Assistant

About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Boilermaker Trade Assistant to join a busy fabrication workshop in Bibra Lake. You’ll support the sheetmetal team by handling and hanging fabricated parts for powder coating, while learning other parts of the coating process under supervision.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys practical work, takes safety seriously and is willing to help wherever needed. Overtime may be available when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist boilermakers and sheetmetal workers with general workshop tasks

- Handle, move and hang sheetmetal components ready for powder coating

- Help prepare parts and keep the coating area organised

- Learn and assist with powder coating tasks under appropriate supervision

- Use workshop tools and equipment safely, once trained

- Maintain a clean and tidy work area





- Follow workshop safety procedures and instructions

- Work additional hours when required

About You

- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work and manual handling

- Reliable, punctual and keen to learn

- Hardworking, practical and able to follow instructions

- Safety-conscious and attentive to detail

- Comfortable working as part of a workshop team

- Adaptable to work overtime when required

- Workshop, fabrication, sheetmetal or powder coating experience would be an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
