We are seeking a Surveyor for our Geelong office to focus on high-accuracy residential and commercial building setouts, as well as detailed feature level surveys & re-establishment surveys.

About The Role

Focus on residential and commercial surveying, feature surveys, re-establishment surveys and site analysis in the Geelong region.

You'll work across a variety of construction projects, with guidance from experienced surveyors, progressively taking on more responsibility.

What you'll be doing

As you develop, you'll gain experience across areas such as:

- Executing building setouts for residential and commercial buildings

- Using total stations, GPS and other surveying equipment

- Reading plans and interpreting construction and engineering drawings

- Checking construction works against design

- Conducting detailed feature and level & re-establishment surveys for architectural design

- Civil construction surveying

- Recording and reporting survey information

- Working with site supervisors, engineers and project teams

- Communicating with clients and construction professionals

- Solving practical problems on active construction sites

- Progressively taking responsibility for projects and outcomes

You'll start with support and guidance and progressively take on more responsibility as your technical ability, confidence and judgement develop.

Who we're looking for

- Are reliable and willing to continue learning

- Hold a current driver's licence

- Hold a construction white card

- Tertiary qualifications or studies (Cert IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor degree)
