Meredith Dairy is known for producing high‑quality, award‑winning goat and sheep dairy products supplied to national and international markets. Located approximately 11 km west of Meredith, Victoria, we operate in a rural setting and are committed to sustainable practices across operations.

A highly creative solid, family-owned cheese manufacturing business, we take pride in our hands‑on approach, supportive team culture, and the quality of what we produce.

We are seeking a practical and motivated person to join our maintenance team and become part of our ongoing success.

About the Role

Provides a variety of work, that will fully utilise all your skills with the potential do develop more!.

Key Responsibilities

- To work in a safe and standard way, and provide support for safe and standard work

- Daily start‑up,



shutdown and changeover of production lines to ensure stable production cycles

- Mechanical maintenance and repair of food production equipment

- Preventative maintenance tasks

- Breakdown response and fault-finding

- Support general site maintenance as required

- contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

About You

- Meredith Dairy will place high value on candidates that meet with points 1,2 and3 above.

- Happy to work a weekday rotation, that will include weekend work (shared roster)

- Seeking a motivated, hands-on person with a positive attitude and the confidence to take initiative when faced with new challenges.

- Strong or developing mechanical fault‑finding skills

- Practical, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team

- Applicants should demonstrate a strong attendance record and commitment to reliable, consistent attendance due to the small team structure.

- Good communication across different roles and expectations supportive teamwork skills

- Current driver's licence essential due to location

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience in painting, surface preparation, and rust removal.

• Experience carrying out minor building and infrastructure maintenance and repairs.
