Are you passionate about working with school-aged children?

Whether you already have experience in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), or you are studying to become a Primary School Teacher and looking to gain valuable experience working with children, this could be a great opportunity for you.

We are currently seeking OSHC Educators to join our SCECS Carnes Hill Before and After School Care service, located on the beautiful grounds of Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School.

The Role

As an OSHC Educator, you will help create a fun, safe and engaging environment where children feel supported, valued and encouraged to participate.

Working as part of the SCECS team, you will:

- Support the delivery of a diverse, stimulating and inclusive program based on children's interests, strengths and needs.

- Build positive and meaningful relationships with children.

- Encourage children to participate in activities, games and learning experiences.

- Support daily routines and promote positive behaviour.

- Contribute to a secure, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.

About You

We are looking for people who are:

- Committed to creating positive experiences for children

Previous experience working in OSHC, education, childcare, sport,



recreation or a similar environment will be highly regarded.

If you're studying to become a Primary School Teacher, this is also a great opportunity to gain practical experience working with school-aged children.

Your Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Actively supervising children and maintaining their safety at all times.

- Assisting with the implementation of a diverse and stimulating program that reflects the developmental needs and interests of children.

- Ensuring safe food handling and hygiene practices are maintained.

- Developing positive relationships with children, parents, caregivers and other stakeholders.

- Supporting daily routines and establishing appropriate rules and boundaries that encourage positive behaviour.

- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation across the service.

To Be Successful, You Will Have
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).

- A commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

- Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.

- Qualifications in Children's Education and Care will be highly regarded.
