We are seeking Mechanics and Used Car Mechanics for both our Osborne Park and O'Connor sites in WA.

What You’ll Do:

- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Tesla’s full vehicle line, including battery packs, electric powertrains, regenerative braking systems, thermal management, and electronic control modules (ECMs).

- Use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and software (including Tesla’s proprietary systems) to identify and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.

- Maintain and operate high-tech hand, power, and shop tools with precision and safety.

- Document repairs clearly and concisely using Tesla’s digital service platform — supported by a company-issued laptop.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on vehicle detailing, configuration, and delivery to ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Provide feedback to engineering and product teams to help improve Tesla’s vehicles and service processes.

- Mentor and support new technicians during onboarding and training.





- Inspect and maintain service equipment, reporting needs for repair or replacement.

- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You’ll Bring:

- Fully qualified Motor Mechanic or Registered Vehicle Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).

- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.

- Proven experience using diagnostic scan tools and interpreting fault codes in complex vehicle systems.

- Experience with electric vehicles (EVs) is highly desirable — including battery system handling, high-voltage safety protocols, and EV-specific diagnostics.

- A creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and the Tesla brand.

- A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
