About the Opportunity

We're an established, locally owned business servicing professionals throughout Brisbane's automotive, mechanical and trade industries.

We specialise in premium professional products and equipment, with a strong focus on customer relationships, exceptional service and business growth.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing sales position where you'll be responsible for developing relationships, identifying opportunities and generating sales.

You'll work closely with the business owner, with ongoing support and training to develop your product knowledge and operational skills.

For the right person, there's a genuine opportunity to progress into a senior sales and operational management role.

What You'll Be Doing

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

- Proactively identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

- Presenting, demonstrating and selling premium professional products and equipment.

- Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable solutions.

- Working towards and achieving individual and business sales targets.

- Following up quotations, enquiries and potential sales opportunities.

- Maintaining accurate customer records and processing sales transactions.

- Assisting with customer account management and payment collections.

- Supporting stock management, inventory and daily operational activities.

- Taking initiative to improve sales performance, customer service and business efficiency.





- Gradually taking on additional operational responsibilities as your skills develop.

Automotive, Mechanical or Trade Industry Experience?

That's a huge advantage!

We're particularly interested in applicants with an interest or background in:

- Automotive mechanics and performance vehicles.

- Heavy diesel, trucks and machinery.

- Automotive diagnostics and technology.

- Professional tools and workshop equipment.

- Mechanical trades and technical industries.

Experience in automotive parts, trade supplies, business-to-business sales, territory sales or account management would be highly regarded.

However, automotive industry experience is not essential if you have strong sales experience and the right attitude.

- Demonstrated previous experience in a sales-focused role.

- Proven ability to build customer relationships and generate sales.

- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

- A current manual driver's licence.

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

- Confidence working independently and taking initiative.
