Gentle Dental Hervey Bay is a locally owned and operated family dental practice. We offer a relaxed, friendly place for patients to get care for all their dental needs. As owners, we’re Hervey Bay locals too. We know the region, its strengths and its challenges, and we want to provide a service locals can relate to.

We run two busy clinics in Urraween and Eli Waters. Our services cover everything from general dentistry to orthodontics, implantology (including All-on-4), and GA and IV sedation procedures, all delivered with the most modern equipment available.

We’re looking for motivated people to join our growing team as Dental Assistant Trainees. The role is exciting, challenging and truly fulfilling.

- Customer service, healthcare or admin experience is welcome but not essential

What you’ll learn and do

- Chair side clinical assisting

- Dental assisting for general anaesthetic procedures

- Sterilisation and infection control

- Patient education and oral health advice

- Stock management support

- General cleaning and maintenance of the clinic

- Reception duties when needed
