The opportunity
A NSW Government agency that provides interpreting and translating services to government, courts and community clients needs a Workforce Planning Manager. They’re modernising how they plan and resource their interpreter and translator workforce, and this role is central to that.

What you’ll do

- Forecast demand across languages, locations and service types, and build workforce supply plans
- Track fill rates, unmet requests and hard-to-source languages, and fix the gaps
- Manage the casual interpreter and translator pool, including availability, performance, records and payroll handoffs
- Turn the data into recruitment and onboarding priorities
- Build dashboards and reports for senior leaders on workforce risks and trends
- Lead a small workforce coordination team
- Help roll out new systems and cut down manual coordination

About you

- Experience in workforce planning, resourcing or workforce analytics in a high-volume service environment
- Comfortable using data to spot trends and gaps, then turn them into practical actions
- Experience leading or coordinating a team
- Strong stakeholder skills across operational, corporate and client-facing teams
- Experience in language services is a bonus but not essential
- Available to start immediately or at short notice

Service Delivery Manager, Resource Allocation | NSW Government | $700/day + super




Lead a team of interpreters and translators delivering in courts, hospitals and government services across Sydney.

The opportunity
A NSW Government agency that provides interpreting and translating services needs a hands-on Service Delivery Manager to run its in-house team of interpreters, translators and court interpreters. You’ll make sure the right people are in the right place, every day.

What you’ll do

- Manage daily and forward allocation of in-house interpreters, translators and court interpreters
- Plan block bookings, court coverage and priority-site resourcing to make the most of internal capacity
- Monitor utilisation, attendance, no-shows, completion times and quality
- Lead, coach and support team leaders and qualified delivery staff
- Work with courts and government agency clients on feedback, issues and changing demand
- Work closely with bookings and workforce planning teams on when to bring in casual capacity
- Help shift the team from manual coordination to a planned, data-driven model

About you

- Experience managing service delivery, rostering, allocation or operational resourcing in a high-volume or time-critical environment
- A proven people leader, including managing staff across multiple sites
- Uses data and client feedback to improve quality and utilisation
- Confident dealing with senior clients and resolving issues on the spot
- Experience in language services, courts or health is a bonus
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
