About the role

West Coast Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated Casual Early Childhood Educator to join the team at the Port Kennedy Childcare Centre. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality education and care in a nurturing, child-centred environment that reflects Montessori philosophy and practice.

Key responsibilities

- Support the delivery of high-quality education and care in a nurturing, child-centred environment

- Work with young children in a Montessori setting

- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Be a positive role model

- Work casual shifts as required

Essential Criteria

- An AMI Montessori Diploma (0–3 years) and/or an ACECQA-approved Diploma/Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (Diploma preferred)

- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain

- A genuine passion for early childhood education and Montessori philosophy

- A warm, caring and professional approach to working with young children

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- A cooperative attitude and commitment to being a positive role model





- Flexibility and availability to work casual shifts as required
