Our client is an established project management consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across the commercial, education, health, government and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Junior Project Manager to join their Adelaide-based team.
Your new role
Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you will assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from inception through to completion.Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with project planning, programming and reporting
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
- Supporting the management of project budgets, risks and schedules
- Attending project meetings and preparing project documentation
- Monitoring project progress and assisting with issue resolution
- Supporting procurement and contract administration activities
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with client expectations
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- A degree in Construction Management,
Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
- Previous experience in project coordination, contract administration, project engineering or project management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience within the construction, property or infrastructure sectors
