Senior Hyper-V & WinTel Engineer Canberra, ACT | NV1 Clearance Required | Contract to June 2027 + Extension Options

We're seeking an experienced Senior Hyper-V & WinTel Engineer to join a major government infrastructure transformation program. This role will focus on the design, implementation, migration, testing, and operational transition of enterprise hosting and virtualisation platforms within a secure environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building and supporting Hyper-V and Windows Server infrastructure
- Delivering complex server and virtualisation migrations
- Configuring and maintaining clustered, highly available environments
- Supporting infrastructure testing, operational readiness, and service transition activities
- Collaborating with architects, security teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders
- Producing technical documentation, migration runbooks, and operational procedures

To be successful, you will have:

- Strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V, Windows Server, and enterprise infrastructure environments




- Proven delivery experience across large-scale migration and transformation projects
- Knowledge of storage, networking, backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
- Current NV1 Security Clearance
