Aged Care Support Worker – Support at Home n

TheSupport at Home team provide individually planned and coordinated suite of support and services designed to assist older people who need support to remain living independently, in their own homes.

Casual Position – Flexible Hours (including school‑friendly shifts)

n

Location: Office based in Port Macquarie (Birpai Nation (Birpai People)), with travel required within the surrounding areas.

n

Pay: Up to $37.73 per hour + 25% casual loading + Not‑for‑Profit salary packaging

n

The role n

We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker (new or experienced), to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of older adults.

Creating Connection : Offering companionship, engaging conversation, and emotional support, while assisting with personal care needs in the comfort of the client's home.

Helping with Travel : Assisting clients with transportation to important appointments, making sure they stay connected and supported in their healthcare journey.

Who we are looking for n

If you have experience working as a Support Worker, are qualified with a Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community Support or related field, and enjoy variety in your day, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

Minimum Cert III Qualification in Aged Care, or Individual Support (must have completed aged care components).

n
- n

Experience working with older adults.

n
- n

The ability to follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans.

n
- n

A desire to use your skills and experience creating fun and interesting activities that support older adults to engage more consistently with their community and peers.

n
- n

A valid driver’s licence.

n
