We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Leading Hand to join our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing n

n
- Leading Electrical Installations – Taking responsibility for the day‑to‑day delivery of electrical works across commercial and industrial projects.
n
- Supervising Your Team – Leading and mentoring electricians and apprentices while maintaining a productive and positive site environment.
n
- Hands‑On Electrical Work – Working alongside your team on installations, switchboards, cabling installation, controls and associated electrical systems.
n
- Planning & Coordination – Organising daily activities, materials and labour to keep projects running efficiently.
n
- Working with Project Managers – Communicating project progress, identifying potential issues and assisting with planning and scheduling.
n
- Reading Plans & Specifications – Interpreting electrical drawings and ensuring installations meet project requirements.
n
- Quality & Safety – Maintaining high workmanship standards and ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and safety requirements.

- Testing & Commissioning – Assisting with electrical testing, commissioning and project handover.
n

What We’re Looking For nn
- Qualified Electrician – Current Queensland Electrical License.
n
- Commercial Experience – Strong background in commercial or industrial electrical installations.
n
- Leadership Ability – Previous Leading Hand experience is highly regarded, but we’re equally interested in experienced electricians ready to step up.
n
- Strong Technical Knowledge – Confident reading drawings, solving installation challenges and making practical site decisions.
n
- Organised & Proactive – Ability to plan ahead, coordinate materials and keep work progressing.
n
- Quality Workmanship – Someone who takes pride in delivering a professional result.
n
- Team Leadership – A positive attitude with the ability to motivate, guide and support other tradespeople.
n
- Communication Skills – Comfortable dealing with Project Managers, builders, other trades and clients.
n
- Reliable & Motivated – Current driver’s licence and a commitment to delivering quality work.
n

Experience in electrical installations, mechanical services switchboards and control systems would be an advantage, but is not essential.
